Ewea Teresa is a Los Angeles based producer and 2025 Film Independent Project Involve Fellow. She sees filmmaking as another way to foster the type of world she wishes to live in and is drawn to the exploration of different forms of love and the coming-of-age stories of chaotic women and girls.  

Ewea's previous projects have played festivals in the United States and abroad, including Slamdance (Pack, 2026 Special Selection) and Fantaspoa (Pack, 2026 Official Selection) and MiraLA (No, 2025 Official Selection).

In her work, Ewea is committed to supporting women of color and queer filmmakers and uplifting stories that center underrepresented communities.

Ewea is the founder and lead producer of My Alien Valentine, a media and production company working across film, digital, and audio. She is a 2025 Reel Champions Next Gen Mentee and has previously worked for Wattpad Webtoon Studios, The Gotham Institute, Film Independent, Quinn, and Sundance.
