Ewea Teresa is a Los Angeles based producer with roots in organizing and ethnic studies. After graduating from Stanford University, she worked in electoral politics before relocating to LA and transitioning into entertainment. She sees filmmaking as another way to foster the type of world she wishes to live in and is drawn to the coming of self narratives of chaotic women and girls and the exploration of different forms of love.  

Ewea has produced films that have screened globally, including at Slamdance and Fantaspoa, among other festivals. She is committed to supporting women of color and queer filmmakers. Ewea is a Film Independent Project Involve Fellow and Reel Champions Next Gen Mentee. She has previously worked for The Gotham Institute, Wattpad Webtoon Studios, and Paramount Pictures.
